im trying to remember, but i think i started watching lost right around the time season 4 started on tv. if it wasnt for abc putting all the episodes online in hd i doubt i would have ever gotten into it at all. the only previous exposer i had to the show was sitting here (picture below) at the counter watching on my laptop when i was living in la. i decided to take a break from watching 24 dvds and remembered seeing a commercial about full episodes of lost being on abc.com so i decide to check it out. i watched 1 episode, i dont remember what it was about but i had no idea what was going on so wasnt really interested but out of boredom i watch the whole episode
over the last few years, i dont know how this has happened, but i cant watch any tv show out of order. the current season of 24, which is my favorite show, is the first season of 24 that ive actually watched on tv. me and kayce got the 30 rock addiction recently and watched the first two seasons on netfix and havent been able to start the 3rd season yet. i refuse to watch the episodes on tv until we catch up, so ive resorted to piratism. another show that weve wanted to watch was scrubs, we would watch some of the reruns but i could never get in to it. finally we borrowed the dvds from tom and christina and weve watched the first 6 seasons in a matter of months.
back to the topic tho- ive watched every episode of lost online. most of the time on sunday afternoons in between church services. and would watch 2 or 3 episodes, than go home and take my laptop into bed and watch 2 or 3 more barley able to stay awake, then go all week or multiple weeks without watching another cuz i refused to admit that i was addicted to it but i think i mightve been. although allot of the reason was to catch up so i can be part of all the lost conversations and ‘understand’ jeremys crazy theories. my favorite part of thursdays now.
anyways all this comes up because- kayce, once again said she would start lost this weekend. ever since i finished season 4 i have been trying to get her to watch it. she refuses. i think it was october, we got totally addicted to arrested development and watched all 3 seasons (in order, of course) in like 3 weeks. during season 3 kayce said after we finished that show she would start lost. long story short we’ve watched a total of 8 season of 30 rock and scrubs since then and have watched maybe the first 10 min of lost together because i pressured her then felt bad so stopped it. i have the first 3 season and maybe the 4th on our xbox so we could watch them on the tv. i have a 500 gig harddrive hooked up to the box with a ton of tv shows on it. and have the xbox hooked up so you can use it on any tv in the house. can i make it any easier?
well well see what happens this weekend. i hope that even if its not this weekend that soon she will give it a try. it would be fun to watch the new episodes with my favorite person! everythings more fun with her, wether its cleaning the house, walking around the mall, hanging out with friends, or watching tv shows. shes my heart and id be LOST without her. haha so corny
