after 2 weeks microsoft has taken this commercial off air. did they back down because of all the ‘i dont get it’ comments/articles online? ya there really is no point to it and they’re not promoting vista or anything, but at least it was something. it could use some work, bill is awful at acting, but the good thing for microsoft- if theyd stick to this type of commercial- is it makes bill a little more likable. accomplishing that would be huge for a company that some might consider ‘evil’.

so instead of making the company more likable theyve decided to copy the theme of there competitions commercials. ‘hello i’m a pc’ -does this not make you think apple?apples been doing those commercials for almost 3 years. so NOW (not two and a half years ago) microsoft decides to can an original idea and come out with this commercial…

this commercial is supposed to air during the office season 5 premier on thursday. in my opinion since i love the office this a good time to roll out a new line of commercials. but i think microsoft will get eaten alive since this commercial kinda sucks. hopefully apple will see this as an opportunity to change there commercials up a bit and do something new leaving microsoft just ‘saying there come back’ for apples dig on them 3 years ago.
